Hourglass Femme Nude Lip Stylo in Nude No6 - a neutral, beige nude (this is the first lipstick I apply in my Nude Lips film). The stick applicator and balmy texture makes it really easy to wear, so it's a good one for everyday. But with a bit of trial and error, once you find the right shade that compliments your skin tone (neither too colourful or washed out), a nude lip can look fantastic. Nude lipstick is very individual, one person's nude could be another person's orange or pink, so it can be a bit of a challenge to find the right one for you. But, as I say in my Ultimate Guide to Nude Lips film, today there are so many fantastic nude lipsticks available, in lots of different textures and as many colours as there are shades of foundation, with pink, orange, brown and neutral undertones. When I started out as a makeup artist, nude lipsticks didn't exist - the only way to create a good neutral lip was using foundation or concealer.
